Over the weekend of the 23rd-25th of October 2015 an array of senior swimmers aged 19 and over descended on Ponds Forge in Sheffield for the annual Masters Short Course Nationals. The event comprises age groups of 19-24 years, 25-29 years and so on up until the current highest age grouping of 100-104!!!!!! Alongside this there are relays for age groups totalling 100-120 years, 120 years + and 160 years +.

UBSC's own Head Coach Jez was in action in the 4x100 mens freestyle relay, alongside his team of senior swimmers representing the United Bristol Swimming Club - all sponsored by Swimpath and their exciting range of Hammerhead kit (visit the SwimShop to order yours!!)


Annie Brown pink'd up and on route to 50 Breast Gold in Sheffield

Team Viking Hammerhead Bobcats had a great weekend taking 4 individual Gold medals, including one in the 50m breaststroke for SwimPath assistant coach and pro swimmer Annie Brown, 2 silvers and 3 bronzes!

The relay teams (120 years +) also won two further golds in 2 of their events, the mens 4x100 fs team and the 4x100 medley team - both of which the teams retained their titles from the previous years event in which not only did they take gold but European and British records respectively. They also took silver in the mens 4x50 freestyle team.
