A BIG congratulations to Jimmy (Flanaghan) Bobcat who had a massive weekend taking double silver in the Gloucester County 100 and 200 Breaststroke. With 2 and 6 second PBs respectively, and at the tender age of 27, Jimmy is following in his formal namesakes footsteps by getting better with age!! Well done Jimmy, it seems allowing other Bobcats to take the race club titles over the last few weeks has paid off!!
A BIG congratulations to UBSC swimmers Alysia Maestri, George Stagg and Jess Reynolds who, thanks to last seasons endeavors in the pool, have been selected for the ASA England Talent Programme 2014/5! Well done guys, a brilliant achievement!!
Our January level 1 played host to a large population of swimmers from right across the country. We were able to witness some Olympic and Commonwealth swimmers in action, as well as a masterclass exhibition swim from Paralympic bronze medallist James Clegg and finalists Craig Rodgie. Other highlights was Richie Schafers successfully defending his skins title, with yet another sub 23 second swim, and some wonderful technical observations on show from City of Cardiff's Chloe Tutton. The results for the meet in hy-tek format are posted below...
Thank you to all who attended, we look forward to seeing you again next year...
