On 17th June UBSC swimmers willl be taking part in a charity event at Portishead open air pool, raising money for a local charity dedicated to sport and music. The annual event will this year see UBSC pit there endurance against a team of ex-Olympians and Internationals - including the current Bristish Record Holder Jemma Lowe - in a continuous relay race. There will also be junior members of the UBSC team in action along with many other swimming organisations, schools and members of the public - all under the backdrop of the coast and to the tune of live music and great food!

A BIG thank you to all who took part in our new Year Level 1 meet - there was some exceptionally fast swimming - including a NEW POOL RECORD in the men's 50m free from Loughborough University's Andrew Weatheritt and a whole host of personal bests and Regional Qualifying times from our home swimmers.

UBSC New Year Level 1 Meet
@ Hengrove Leisure Centre, Bristol
9th-10th January 2016
We will be running our annual new Year Level 1 meet at Hengrove's 50m pool in Bristol on the 9th and 10th of January 2016. As usual we will run finals for all 50, 100 and 200 events as well as our 'day skins' event in the 50 fs. This event has in the last two years produced 3 Bristish Championship qualifying times and a Scottish Record - so to dare to enter is to dare to swim fast!!!!! Come and have a go at scooping the cash prize and see if you can beat the undefeated and meet record holder Richie Schafer's (Edinburgh University) 22.56!!! See him in action below...
